太平财产保险有限公司，简称“太平财险”，隶属于中央金融企业中国太平保险集团，前身是太平水火保险公司，1929年创立于上海，1956年按照国家统一部署停办国内业务，移师境外经营，2001年在深圳复业，2009年更名为太平财险。
Established in Shanghai in 1929, Taiping General Insurance Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Taiping General Insurance”), is affiliated to China Taiping Insurance Group Company, a central financial enterprise. Its predecessor is Taiping Water and Fire Insurance Company. In 1956, in accordance with the unified national deployment, the domestic business was suspended and moved overseas. In 2001, the business was resumed in Shenzhen, and its name was changed to Taiping General Insurance in 2009.

20余年来，太平财险立足深圳，扎根湾区，面向全国，整体实力稳步提升，注册资本金超过70亿元，保费规模稳居市场前八，在国内设立33家省级分公司，拥有近1000家分支机构以及近5万人的专业管理和销售队伍，服务网络遍及全国主要城市，业务范围涵盖全部非寿险领域，车险理赔“一线通”、E理赔等应用行业领先。首批加入中国“一带一路”再保险共同体、中国太平东盟保险共同体，全球出单网络覆盖58个国家和地区，获得“年度卓越财产保险公司”“年度卓越竞争力财险公司”“年度保险品牌”等多项荣誉。
Over the past 20+ years, Taiping General Insurance has been setting its foothold in Shenzhen, rooted in the Bay Area, facing the whole country, and improving its overall strength steadily. Its registered capital has exceeded RMB 7 billion, with its insurance premium scale ranking among the top eight in the market. It has established 33 provincial subsidiaries in China, owning nearly 1,000 branches and a professional management and sales force of nearly 50,000 people. The company’s service network covers major cities nationwide, and its business scope covers all non-life insurance businesses. In addition, its relevant applications such as "One-cable Link" for auto insurance claims, E-claim are at the leading level in the industry. What’s more, it is one of the first batch of companies to join China's "Belt and Road" Reinsurance Community and China Taiping ASEAN Insurance Community. It enjoys a policy-issuing network covering 58 countries and regions, and has won multiple honorary titles, such as the "Excellent Property Insurance Company of the Year", "Excellent Competitiveness Property Insurance Company of the Year" and "Best Insurance Brand of the Year".
