The Art Institute of the Orient is specialized in artistic education and cultural programs, with a focus on Chinese arts and culture and their interactions with the Western world.  The institute is a place for exploring, experiencing, learning, creating and bridging.  AIO is under Hong Kong Utahloy Foundation Ltd. 
东方荟萃艺术学院（广州誉德莱艺术文化有限公司）专注于从事艺术类教育和文化项目，特别是中国艺术文化与西方世界的交流。这里是一个集探索、体验、学习、创新和沟通于一体的地方。本机构隶属于香港誉德莱教育机构有限公司。

The Art Institute of the Orient is a notable example of Beaux-Arts style architecture and listed as Category A national heritage building. This massive building of five floors and a total of 5’000 m2 was built in 1914 by an Australian-American firm of architects.   
东方荟萃艺术学院是一所典型的学院派风格建筑，且已列为国家级A类文物建筑。这所大型建筑拥有五层楼，总面积为五千平方米，是由一所澳大利亚-美国建筑师事务所于1914年建成。

The Institute is an inclusive institution and nurture tangible and intangible cultural heritage; it promotes plastic and visuals arts with a focus on Chinese arts and culture, in a perspective of international mindedness and exchanges through artistic diffusions, displays and happenings.
